🧭 Overview

Salesfinity Incoming Callback feature lets users receive and answer inbound calls directly inside the Salesfinity without needing call forwarding or external phone systems.

When a call comes in, it shows caller details, related account information, and past activity so users can handle conversations with full context. Missed or declined calls are logged as in-app notifications for easy follow-up.

🎥 Product Demo: See It in Action

To get a full walkthrough of how Incoming Callback works in real life, watch the short demo video below.

The video shows:

  • How to enable Incoming Callback in Settings

  • What the incoming call looks like inside Salesfinity

  • How caller details and account context appear during and after the call

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Open Settings in Salesfinity

  2. Enable “Accept inbound calls in app.”

  3. Turn off any call forwarding or external routing.

  4. Now, when someone calls your Salesfinity number, a call notification appears in-app.

  5. Tap Accept to answer the call directly in Salesfinity.

  6. During the call, you’ll see:

    • Caller name and number

    • Account details (if available)

    • Recent notes and activity for context

📋 What Happens When You Miss a Call

If you decline or don’t answer a call:

  • Salesfinity creates a missed call notification inside the app.

  • You can revisit the notification to follow up or review call details.

✅ Key Benefits

  • Unified call handling: No need to forward calls to external devices.

  • Rich caller context: See caller info and recent interactions before answering.

  • In-app notifications for missed calls: Keeps your follow-ups organized.

  • Faster responses: Centralized call routing streamlines customer or prospect engagement.

📊 Why This Matters

This feature helps teams — especially support, sales, and account management — handle inbound calls more efficiently by keeping caller history and notes visible right when you answer. That means fewer context switches and more productive conversations.

📝 Example Use Case

Sales team scenario:

A sales rep receives a return call from a prospect. Instead of answering blindly, the rep sees:

  • The prospect’s name and company

  • Previous call attempts and notes

  • Related deal information

The rep answers directly in Salesfinity and references past conversations — improving continuity and increasing the chance of conversion.

👌 Best Practices

  • Before turning on the feature, ensure call forwarding is disabled to avoid duplicate ring notifications.

  • Encourage your team to update contact and account info so incoming calls show helpful context.

  • Check missed call notifications frequently to follow up in a timely way.
