You've got the basics down — your data is connected, your numbers are added, and you know the difference between power and parallel dialing. (If any of that is fuzzy, start with Getting Started with Salesfinity.)

This guide covers three features that change how you work a list, not just how fast. Used together, they help you spend your time on the prospects most likely to pick up — and skip the dead ends.

  1. Boss Mode — rank every number before you dial

  2. SmartEnrich — source better phone numbers automatically

  3. Call Screeners — handle AI gatekeepers the smart way

1. Boss Mode — know which numbers are worth your time

Boss Mode completely changes how you think about your call list. Instead of treating every number the same, it tells you which ones are actually worth dialing before you pick up the phone.

How it works

Toggle on Boss Mode. Salesfinity immediately starts a cleanup: it verifies every number in your list at the carrier level and looks at the last 90 days of activity on each one. Based on that, every number is ranked into one of three tiers:

Tier

What it means

Likely line type

P1

High recent activity. We can reasonably assume this is your prospect's true mobile line.

Real cell — high likelihood of pickup

P2

A fair amount of activity. They might pick up, they might not — there could be a gatekeeper.

Mixed

P3

Low activity. Usually a dead end.

Landlines, HQ mainlines, disconnected lines, or auto-generated CRM/softphone numbers — low likelihood of reaching a real person

Tip: Hover over any number to see its exact line type and carrier. Before you ever hit dial, you'll know whether you're calling someone's real cell or a dead end.

How this changes your dialing

The tier should change how aggressively you dial. Here's the playbook:

  • P1 → Power dial. These are your best at-bats. Take your time with them. (If you parallel dial five P1s and they all pick up, you can still only talk to one person — so you'd waste the rest.)

  • P2 → Go a little faster. Dial one or two at a time, or power dial. Treat them with care, but you can move quicker than P1s.

  • P3 → Open it up. Dial four or five at a time. Anything you connect on is gravy.

Why can't I parallel dial P3s right away? By default, Salesfinity won't let you bulk-dial P3 numbers while Boss Mode is on — they have a low likelihood of pickup and can drag down your connect rate. If reaching your P3s (or every prospect on your list) matters to you, here's the clean way to do it:

  1. Power dial your P1s.

  2. Power dial your P2s (or dial 1–2 at a time).

  3. Turn Boss Mode off. Once your P1s and P2s are handled, you can safely assume what's left is P3s. Now open it up and parallel dial 4–5 at a time.

Boss Mode feeds SmartEnrich

You may notice your SmartEnrich count tick up while Boss Mode is on. That's intentional — Salesfinity is scanning your P3 numbers and asking, "Can we source a better number for this person?" If we can, we will. Which brings us to the next feature.

2. SmartEnrich — better numbers, automatically

Every user gets 200 SmartEnrich credits per month. Use them or lose them — credits do not roll over.

What it does

SmartEnrich runs your contact list through our Waterfall Data Enrichment, checking across several data providers. If we can find a better phone number for a prospect — one with a higher likelihood of pickup — we'll source it for you.

You're only charged a credit when we actually find something. If we come up empty, you lose nothing.

Enriched numbers show up with a small sparkle icon next to them. That's the number we sourced on your behalf.

Two ways to spend your credits

  • Blanket enrich — apply SmartEnrich to your whole list at once. Best when you want to maximize coverage quickly.

  • À la carte — check the individual contacts you want to prioritize and enrich only those. Best when you want to be strategic about where your credits go.

Don't sit on your credits. 200 a month is a solid amount, and every enriched number is a better shot at a real conversation. Spend them early in your dial sessions, not as an afterthought.

3. Call Screeners — get past the AI gatekeeper

Ever been mid-dial and heard "Please state your name and the reason for your call"? That's a call screener — an AI gatekeeper standing between you and your prospect. Salesfinity gives you a cleaner way to handle them.

Find your call-screener contacts

  1. Open Filters.

  2. Select Call Screening.

  3. On the right-hand side, select Call Screening Enabled.

  4. Click Done.

This separates out everyone on your list who has call screening turned on, so you can see them clearly and dial them deliberately.

How to dial them

Power dial call screeners — always. You need to be ready to respond the moment the prompt comes up. If you're parallel dialing and a screener hits, there's a real chance you won't be prepared to handle it cleanly. Power dialing keeps you sharp and gives you the best shot at getting past the gatekeeper.

Putting it all together

A simple, high-efficiency session looks like this:

  1. Turn on Boss Mode and let it rank your list.

  2. Spend SmartEnrich credits early — blanket your list, or à la carte your priority accounts — so you're working the freshest numbers.

  3. Filter out call screeners and set them aside to power dial deliberately.

  4. Work top-down: power dial P1s, then P2s. Turn Boss Mode off and open up parallel dialing on what's left.

Dial the best numbers with the most focus, the weakest numbers with the most volume, and let SmartEnrich quietly upgrade the rest.

FAQ

What's the difference between Boss Mode and SmartEnrich? Boss Mode ranks the numbers you already have (P1/P2/P3) so you know which to prioritize. SmartEnrich finds new, better numbers when your existing ones look weak. They work together — Boss Mode flags the weak P3s, and SmartEnrich tries to replace them.

Do my SmartEnrich credits roll over? No. You get 200 fresh credits each month, and unused credits expire. Use them early and often.

Will I get charged a credit if SmartEnrich doesn't find a better number? No. You're only charged when we actually source a better number. If we come up empty, it's free.

How do I know which numbers were enriched? Look for the sparkle icon next to a number — that's one Salesfinity sourced for you.

What exactly are P1, P2, and P3 numbers? P1s have high recent activity and are very likely your prospect's real mobile line. P2s have moderate activity and are a mixed bag. P3s have low activity and are usually landlines, HQ mainlines, disconnected lines, or auto-generated numbers — low odds of reaching a real person.

Why won't Salesfinity let me parallel dial P3s? P3s have a low likelihood of pickup and can hurt your connect rate, so bulk-dialing them is restricted while Boss Mode is on. To dial them anyway, clear your P1s and P2s first, then turn Boss Mode off and parallel dial what remains.

Should I parallel dial call screeners? No — power dial them. You want to be fully present when the screener prompt comes up so you can respond cleanly and get through.

I ran out of SmartEnrich credits. Can I get more? Yes. Reach out to your salesperson or Customer Success Manager to add credits.
