How to Fix this “Site Can’t Be Reached" Message

✅ Quick Fix: Update Your DNS Settings

If you see an error like This site can’t be reached please follow the steps below to fix it. This is typically a network (WiFi) issue, not a problem with your browser or device.


🍎 On Mac

  1. Open System Settings

  2. Click Network

  3. Select your WiFi

  4. Click Details

  5. Go to the DNS tab

  6. Click the + button and add:

    • 8.8.8.8

    • 8.8.4.4

  7. Click OKApply

  8. Refresh the page


🪟 On Windows

  1. Open Control Panel

  2. Click Network & Internet

  3. Click Network and Sharing Center

  4. Click your WiFi network

  5. Click Properties

  6. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4)

  7. Select Use the following DNS server addresses

  8. Enter:

    • Preferred: 8.8.8.8

    • Alternate: 8.8.4.4

  9. Click OK

  10. Refresh the page

  2. ISPs and networks update filters in the background

  3. Routers can cache bad data without you knowing
